  I have been renting homes in Sea Ranch for the past 20 years but from different agencies. This go around we used Sea Ranch Getaways, 39175 S Hwy 1, Gualala. When we got to the home we were pleased with the layout and location. However we were shocked and disgusted about how dirty the house was. We immediately called to report it. When we were called back they said that they could send someone over to come by and clean. That was very frustrating as we only had two full days there and didn't want to spend one of them waiting for it to be cleaned when it should have been done prior to arrival. The manager Jennifer wants to say that she offered someone to come do a touch up, but you could tell by some of the pictures this place needed a deep cleaning. I wish I remembered to take a picture of the sponge they left for us. (still gagging). Jennifer did initially reach out and then never responded to my email. I called a month after not hearing back to ask if they would refund the cleaning fee of $120 and she said that she would give me a $20 credit. When I mentioned that I would post the pictures then she became more interested saying that I should email her the pictures, then she would investigate and let me know how they would move forward. Thankfully I am not in need of the $120 and would rather call them out for their lack of customer service and b.s. No way this place was cleaned 3 weeks earlier and then prior to arrival. No way did a housekeeping supervisor check to make sure that anything was done besides making the beds. I would NEVER recommend this company for their lack of follow up and customer service. There are many other good rental agencies out there. Be sure to seek those out instead. I am in the Travel Industry so this type of behavior is downright insulting. Make sure to see all the pictures...especially one of the drain. The sink smelled like fish!

  Expected more than a tore up mattress in the loft, the hot tub was locked and the BBQ broken, filthy unusable. New management unprofessional and did nothing when showed the pictures of the house.We we're told that the house we wanted was no longer available but after researching it is available but not through the new Serenisea. They lied to us and no offer to comp us for the false advertising.

  Thank you Jim the owner, he was accommodating to our needs. We certainly had a great time enjoying the ocean view from our cabin. The private hot tub was a nice added bonus. We are definetly coming back here for our 40th anniversary.

  I have never written a negative review before, but I just could not justify not sharing this info. Please let me say first that I highly recommend the locally owned agencies such as Sea Ranch Escape if you want to spend time in a lovely Sea Ranch home. We have been spending time in S.R. for over 40 years, and this rental at the home Graceland was a bit ridiculous. We were in the area and went by the home 2 weeks prior to our scheduled rental and when we saw the state of disrepair it was in we requested another home as we felt duped by the photos. Or a refund. We were told this was not possible. Let me also say that this home is so wonderful; the issues are related to lack of care and total disregard for renters/guests. So.. the kitchen is minuscule and totally run down, peeling paint on cabinets, cabinets dirty, DISHES in cabinets dirty and ridiculously, most of the kitchen cabinets are locked for owner use! There is little space for guest's food. No sponges. No dressers in some rooms, only a few hangers. Blinds in several places broken; in master bedroom very broken and cannot open over sliding glass doors, which are also broken/off track and difficult to open. Screen door badly torn. Tub in hall bathroom has no stopper. Master bedroom mattress has a sinkhole on one side, and all the linens are worn, old and cheap, blankets same. I sent all this to SRVR and did not get any kind of response. I do NOT recommend using this agency.
